Elastic Beanstalk Gets Node.js Support

The platform as a service also supports Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, and .NET.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Amazon Web Services has announced that its Elastic Beanstalk cloud development platform now supports Node.js. According to the company, the change will allow developers who use Node.js to focus on writing code, while Amazon's PaaS takes care of deployment details and scalability.

In the past, AWS has supported Node.js through the AWS SDK for Node.js, which is still in developer preview status.

In addition to Node.js, the Elastic Beanstalk PaaS also supports Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, and .NET.
