Microsoft is supporting Docker and Apache Mesos.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Microsoft has released a new preview of Windows Server 2016, and for the first time this latest version includes support for Docker. The company is also adding support for containers running on its Azure cloud computing service to its Visual Studio and Visual Studio Online IDEs.

In related news, Mesophere is showing off a demo of its Apache Mesos-based software managing containers running on Windows Server 2016 at the MesosCon event on Thursday. Mesos can plug into the Docker APIs in Windows Server 2016, and it allows enterprises to manage both Windows and Linux containers with the same tool.
