Salesforce.com Adds New Mobile Development Tools

It also now supports more frameworks.

Application Security Testing: An Integral Part of DevOps

Following a 40-city developer tour, Salesforce.com has launched some new tools for developers. Specifically, it has released twenty open source HTML5 and CSS templates that focus on making the most of "micro-moments" when enterprise users interact with their phones. "The thing our developers are trying to do is not take massive, legacy applications and make them available in the cloud," said Salesforce.com's Adam Seligman. "They're trying to get to what their customer wants to do."

The company has also posted a gallery of mobile apps based on its platform. In addition, it launched new APIs to support development on Knockout.js, Appery.io, Sencha Touch and Xamarin.
