Skytap has announced that it has updated its cloud development and deployment services to support AWS and VMware workloads. Skytap runs on Amazon’s cloud infrastructure. It offers developers the chance to develop and test their applications in an environment that mirrors a production AWS environment while providing access to popular development tools like Jenkins, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, and IBM Rational Team Concert.
“With Skytap Cloud built on AWS, enterprise customers leverage Skytap’s ALM integrations to enable turnkey continuous integration on AWS infrastructure,” said Skytap’s Brian White. “Developers, testers, and IT professionals now have the features and services they need to build and deliver better software faster within a closed-loop Skytap to AWS environment.”
