IBM Launches New Eclipse Tools for Bluemix

IBM has announced several updates and additions to its Bluemix platform as a service. First it updated IBM Eclipse Tools for Bluemix with support for the Mars train of updates to the Eclipse IDE. It also includes JavaScript Debug, support for Node.js and Java 8 Liberty for Java Integration.

In addition, Bluemix now supports Domino XPages through the XPages on IBM Bluemix service.

IBM launched the Bluemix cloud development platform in 2014, and it already includes more than 100 tools and services. According to market researchers at ESG, Bluemix is growing ten times faster than the platform as a service market as a whole.
