Oracle Launches Cloud Machine

Oracle Launches Cloud Machine

Oracle has launched a new piece of cloud computing hardware called the Cloud Machine. The server will run Oracle Cloud at Customer, software which includes the same APIs as the Oracle public cloud computing service. As a result, enterprises will be able to run a private cloud in their own data centers that uses Oracle technology. It will also enable hybrid cloud capabilities for organizations that use Oracle’s public cloud.

Oracle is positioning the new Cloud Machine as an all-in-one cloud stack that bundles together infrastructure, application development, data management, enterprise integration and management capabilities. It also said that the Cloud Machine will simplify compliance for some types of organizations.
