A new report from CloudEndure says that two of the largest public cloud computing services saw significant improvements in their reliability during 2014. Amazon Web Services reduced its errors by 41 percent, from 127 errors in the first quarter to 24 in the fourth quarter. Microsoft Azure dropped from a total of 259 errors, including 3 full service interruptions, in the first quarter to 198 total errors with no full service interruptions in the fourth quarter.
The report recommends deploying workloads across multiple regions to achieve the best availability.
