According to a new survey commissioned by Intermedia, Amazon Web Services (AWS) appears to be winning the customer loyalty game. Among companies who were planning to switch from one cloud computing provider to another, most said they were planning to move to Amazon. Only 2 percent of those surveyed said they would “never” use AWS, and none said that they had discontinued use of AWS once they had tried it.
By comparison, 16 percent of those surveyed said they would “never” use Microsoft Azure, and 8 percent said they had discontinued its use. And with regards to IBM Softlayer, 33 percent said they would “never” use it while 9 percent said they had tried it and would not use it anymore.
