For example, it offers better SAML and LDAP support, which improve its ability to use internal authentication systems, and it adds high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.

In addition, GitHub Enterprise 2.0 is also available as an Amazon Machine Image for running on Amazon’s cloud computing service, a capability requested by many customers.
