Google Buys BeBop, Names Diane Greene to Head Cloud Computing Business

Google has announced that it is purchasing Bebop Technologies, a startup that had been in stealth mode working on cloud development tools, and that Bebop founder Diane Greene will head its cloud computing business. Her official title will be senior vice president for enterprise businesses. Greene is probably better known for her role as a co-founder and former CEO of VMware.
