In order to make it easier to use its App Engine cloud computing service, Google has unveiled a new “Mobile Backend Starter.” It includes everything mobile development firms need to deploy a new app, including server space, a client library and built-in support for Google Authentication. Features include cloud data storage, messaging support, push notifications and continuous queries.
According to the Google blog post on the topic, the Mobile Backend Starter “is a one-click deployable, complete mobile backend that allows you to reap the benefits of a cloud backend with none of the headaches.”
