RIM Begins Accepting BlackBerry 10 Apps

In its Developer blog, RIM announced that it began accepting BlackBerry 10 apps on October 10. In order to entice would-be BlackBerry developers, it promises that apps submitted now will be reviewed and posted in BlackBerry App World before the platform officially launches in the first quarter of next year. In addition, RIM has promised that any developer who submits an app that makes at least $1,000 in a year will actually make $10,000, with RIM making up the difference.

The blog also offers tips on developing apps for the platform and hints that some BlackBerry 10 devices will have touchscreens only, not keypads.
