Twitter has announced some updates to its Cards feature that is used by many developers to promote various types content. First, the company is rolling out “app deep linking,” which will allow mobile development firms to show off their apps via Twitter. The company blog explains, “With mobile app deep-linking, users will be able to tap a link to either view content directly in your app, or download your app, depending on whether or not they have your app installed.”

Second, Twitter has unveiled three new types of Cards: App, which provides info about a mobile app; Product, which shows off product information; and Gallery, which displays several photos at once instead of just one.
