Add Color Coding to Include Files in Visual InterDev 6

Visual InterDev 6 colors HTML and script to make it easier to pick out the type of code and syntax errors. However, many programmers put frequently used routines in an include (.inc) file which Visual InterDev doesn't interpret as script. You can get color coding to your include files by following these steps. First, add your include file to your Visual InterDev project. In Project Explorer, right-click on the name of the include file. From the context menu, click Open With and in the Open With dialog box, select HTML Editor. Click Set as Default and then click Close. From now on, all files with the .inc extension will open with the HTML editor and include color-coding.
