Use a Hyperlink as a Submit Button

If your page design includes attractive and colorful fonts, you may not want to use an ordinary HTML Submit button on your form. Sometimes you may want to submit the form using a hyperlink. You can do this by using a little inline JavaScript as the href attribute in your link. Here's an example in which clicking the hyperlink submits the form:

<HTML>
<BODY>
<FORM name=frmMyForm method=post action="newpage.asp">
<input type=hidden name=hiddenfield value="hiddenvalue">
</FORM>
<a href="JavaScript:document.frmMyForm.submit();">
Go to other page</a>
</BODY>
</HTML>
