Turn Off Explicit ASP Error Messages in IIS

Of course no one ever sees an error on your Web site—but just in case, you can turn off explicit ASP error messages on your live site for better security and a more user friendly experience.

Here's how: First, go into Internet Service Manager. On the Home Directory Tab, click the configuration button. On the App Debugging tab, click the radio button to "Send text error message to client". You can then specify your text message in the text box.
