Determining the Last Date Of a Month


It's common when working with dates to be able to determine the last date of a particular month. I've seen solutions to this problem that range from using arrays or a table to hold the number of days in each month to complex math to compute the date value. The function below uses the build in date functions to return the result.

To test the function in the immediate window, type:
 
?FindEOM(Now())




Function FindEOM(ADate As Variant)
    On Error GoTo FEOMErr
    Dim NextMonth As Variant

    NextMonth = DateAdd(
