List the Fieldnames of a Recordset in Runtime


To list the fieldnames of a recordset in runtime, break the code in the procedure after the recordset has been initialized and enter the following lines into the debug window. Then press enter (rsTemp is the name of the recordsets variable):
 
    For each F in rsTemp.Fields : ?F.name : Next

You can also easily change this line of code to list the values:
 
    For each F in rsTemp.Fields : ?F.name &
