Creating Help Files for VB

Question:
I am new to Visual Basic and wanted to know how to write those nifty little help files.

Answer:
Help files are fairly easy to create. All you need is a word processor like Word 6.0 or another that can save files in RTF (Rich Text Format) format, along with the help compiler files that are included with VB 3.0 Professional. You do need updated versions of some of the help compiler files, they are available at ftp.microsoft.com. All the documentation on creating help files is in Professional Features Book 1. There are several good examples included that do most help features.
