Binding a Data Control to a Returned Recordset

Question:
Is there a way to pass a recordset from an OLE server to an OLE client? I suspect so. Can we bind the passed recordset to a client data control? Seems that MS wants us to maintain ODBC & SQL*NET on hundreds of clients. Not exactly our idea of a good time.

Answer:
The Recordset property of the DataControl under version 4 can be set, which is a change from version 3. That means you can tie to your OLE server, return a recordset, and hook it up to your data control. It gives you the best of both worlds.
