FRX Files

Question:
Could you (easily) please tell me what .FRX files are in VB? I'd be forever grateful.

Answer:
FRX Files are displayed in Windows 95 as Visual Basic Form Stash Files. Basically, the .FRX file is where a copy of all graphical controls and other things the form needs to display correctly are stored when the form is saved in text mode. If the form is saved as binary mode, an .FRX file won't be generated. In fact, if you draw objects onto a form, save it, and then destroy the .FRX file, your form will also be unusable. Not all forms have associated .FRX files. If you are just using the intrinsic controls, like text boxes and drop lists, for example, VB already has the graphics it needs from the VBRUN DLLs.
