Declaring Variables as Object Types

Question:
The version of VB doesn't matter...anyway. How is it possible to create an object in vbscript if you can't Dim something 'As' something? In creating a page, I am wanting to reference/create an object but I'm not sure how to do it without the 'Dim x as new object'

Answer:
VBScript uses what is known as late binding. You have to first say:

Dim X
Later, when you have determined which object you are using, you say
Set X = New Object
or whatever code that returns you a reference to an object.
