Javascript Output

Question:
How do you write javascript output to a file on the server and then retrieve it later?

Answer:
Unfortunately, like VBScript, JavaScript cannot write to files on your server or any other server. It is considered a security risk and is therefore not allowed.

About the only thing I can suggest is to create a CGI script of some sort to write your file for you. It's probably not the best solution, but Javascript does not offer any alternatives.
