Passing variables from forms to forms

Question:
Would you please tell me how to pass variables from forms to forms? Is that we can use the Tabs in general or use pass by reference? Thanks!

Answer:
Since you're using Version 3.0 of Visual Basic, the only way to access the same variable from two different places is through the use of a global variable. To declare a variable, do the following:

  1. Add a code module to your project. A code module is one that ends in .BAS.
  2. In the declarations section of that code module, declare your variable with the Global keyword, as shown here:
    Global foo as Integer

That will create a variable named foo that can be accessed from any form or code module.
