RDBMS Strengths

Question:
What are the major strengths of a RDBMS when compared to an ODBMS?

Answer:
Most ODBMS today are still weak in the area of security, so if you are planning a large operation that includes sensitive data, an ODBMS is probably not the best choice. ODBMS's also tend to be weak in the area of traditional database management tools, for instance, load-balancing, statistical analysis, schema tools, report writers and other tools may be limited or unavailable.
