Delphi Queries and SQL

I am trying to perform multiple queries, and to speed things up I want to perform a query on the result of a previous query. Is there an easy way to do a Select * from QUERYNAME without moving the resulting records from the query to a new table and then performing a select on the new table?

In other words, can you use a query as the object of an SQL select statement, and if so, how?

Sorry, but no, you can't perform a query on a query because the TQuery object is expecting a peristent data store from which to grab information. By its very nature, a query result is not persistent.
