How to get VB to change hex code

I need to change one offset value in a binary file. How can I read the file with Visual Basic?

I would recommend loading the file into an array of type Byte. You should be able to then find the particular offset by simply counting from the beginning of the file, changing the value in question, and then writing the file back out. Take a look at the help for the Open statement. It can open a file for Binary access, which will let you read a single byte at a time.
