How to get the changed entry or selection in a drop-down picture list box?

Question:
How can I get the changed entry or selection in a drop-down picture list box?

I am showing an array of available drives and types to be selected by the user in the above type of list box. How can I get the newly selected one? Which event? Which object/property/attribute?

Answer:
You can use the Text attribute from another script to get the current value or, in the selection changed event, you can use the index value that is passed as an argument to access the item() array and get the value.
