Asking a proper question

Question:
I have tried using the "shell" statement in VBA to load and run an existing .exe file. The file seems to load but does not run. (I have used the exact format given in the help). Is there something wrong with "shell," or am I doing something wrong?

Answer:
You're doing something wrong.

You want me to guess what exactly it is? Sorry, no can do. These online forums really can be a wonderful source of information and answers, but not if you don't ask a question in a manner that provides someone a chance to actually answer it. Next time, try adding a few relevent details—typically a code snippet that reproduces the problem you're experiencing, as well as a description of any unusual circumstances.)
