Datatype - TEXT

Question:
I have fields, in which the datatype is TEXT, and I need to know how I can insert and update data from these fields?

Answer:
If the size of the data is under 8000 you can use the normal INSERT UPDATE and DELETE commands. If they are bigger than that, then you are bound to using the READTEXT command, which means you have to set up a loop to read the text into your variable a chunk at a time.
