SQL Tutorials

Question:
I am interested in learning SQL on my own and need to know if there are any tutorials or disks that I can obtain so that I can practice on my home computer. I need to know how I can practice writing code at home.

Answer:
You need to get a practice version of a server. I used to use the SYBASE runtime that shipped with the Practical SQL Handbook, though I'm sure there are others and newer models available. The landscape is littered with SQL 7.0 and the new DB2 120 day trials.
