Programmatically Control and Interact With IE

Question:
How can I interact with a running version of Internet Explorer or Netscape? When I say interact, I mean handling or monitoring browser events such as right click or navigate.

Answer:
The builders of any application define the extent to which you can interact with that application. The builders of Internet Explorer have provided an ActiveX control that you can use to programmatically control and interact with IE. That control ships with the Enterprise Edition of Visual Basic as part of the Microsoft Internet controls (provided by SHDOCVW.DLL). To the best of my knowledge, the builders of Netscape Navigator have not opened up NN in any similar way.
