How to Cycle Through the Visual Studio Clipboard Ring

Copying and pasting several sections of a file to another location is a common operation that usually ends up wasting a lot of time. But rather than copying each section individually from one location to another, you can use the Visual Studio Clipboard Ring instead.

To do that, first copy all the content by selecting each item, and pressing Ctrl+C. Then, in the destination file, place your cursor where you want to copy an item and press Ctrl+Shft+V to cycle through the copied content until you reach the item you want to paste. Visual Studio displays each item in the clipboard ring in turn so you can preview it. When you reach the target item, paste it normally, with Ctrl+V.

NOTE: The clipboard ring contains a maximum of 20 items at any given time.
