Fixed-Width Tables in IE5

Internet Explorer version 5 has significantly better HTML table support than previous versions. Up until now, HTML writers have had to rely on trial and error to make tables render correctly, but now they finally work. Just add this style sheet property to the top of every page that uses tables:

<style>
body {
	table-layout: fixed;
}
</style>
Not only will all your tables be exactly the width you specify, but they'll render incrementally as well. No more waiting until the entire table has downloaded before anything displays--each line will appear as soon as it is received.
