Alter the Background of an Image Using Word

At times, you may need to edit the background of an image for some quick use. You do not need to learn sophisticated tools such as Photoshop for a quick and dirty edit. Word supports Picture tools that can alter the background.

Copy-paste the image that you want to edit, choose "Picture Tools" - Format - "Remove background" - Select the areas you want to remove or keep, and then save changes.
