Personal Communications Service (PCS)

Personal Communications Service is a generic term for a mass-market mobile phone service, originally offered in the 1850-1990 MHz RF band but now offered in cellular bands as well. PCS communications use digital cellular technologies such as GSM, CDMA and TDMA.
