BlackBerry Devs to Receive Red Z10s

BlackBerry Devs to Receive Red Z10s

BlackBerry (the company formerly known as RIM) wants to thank the developers who stayed with the organization through its dark days. So it’s giving away 12,000 limited-edition, cherry-red Z10 smartphones as a thank you present.

In order to be eligible to receive the device, mobile development pros must have already qualified for a BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device, and they must trade in the older phone. In addition, devs must have submitted an app before February 28 that the company deems to be of high enough quality that it will be “of reasonable demand on the BlackBerry World storefront.”

More details are available at the BlackBerry Developer site.
