Microsoft Releases First Update for Visual Studio 2015 and Team Foundation Server 2015

Microsoft has released major updates to its flagship development tools, Visual Studio 2015 and Team Foundation Server 2015. The new version of the Visual Studio IDE adds support for .NET Framework 4.6.1, which offers WPF improvements for spell check, support for per-user custom dictionaries, improved touch performance, enhanced support for Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA) X509 certificates and improvements in SQL connectivity. In addition, the Visual Studio editor now supports Go, Java, Perl, R, Ruby and Swift. Other key new features include Tools for Universal Windows Apps 1.2, NuGet 3.3 and support for parallel test execution.

The latest version of Team Foundation Server has improved Git support and a new Pull Requests hub.
