Tip: Scrolling Text in HTML

Learn several different ways to scroll text on your HTML pages.

With the <marquee> tag, you can scroll the text from top to bottom, from bottom to top, from left to right, from right to left, and you can also increase writing.

In the example below, the text will move continuously from left to right:

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="right"> This marking makes the text move from left to right, continuously </marquee>

Text scrolled up:

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="up"> This mark makes the text rolled up </marquee>

Increased text speed:

<marquee behavior="scroll" direction="right" scrollamount="18"> This bookmark makes the text run fast </marquee>

Text scrolled back and forth:

<marquee behavior="alternate"> This marking makes the text run back and forth continuously </marquee>
