HPE Announces General Availability for Haven OnDemand Machine Learning Platform

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has announced that its Haven OnDemand cloud-based machine learning platform has exited beta and is now commercially available. Built on top of Microsoft Azure, the service includes about 60 APIs with machine learning capabilities for building data-rich applications.

HPE says the service is for both enterprise application development teams and startups. ?Developers are good at what they do, but they are not statisticians and mathematicians,? said Colin Mahony, senior VP and general manager for HPE Big Data. ?They want us to take a lot of the statistics, heuristics, and machine learning, and build it into things that do advanced text analytics, or basic format conversion, facial detection, etc.?

Haven OnDemand has a free tier, and paid plans start at $10 per month.
