IBM to Spend $200 Million on Watson IoT Headquarters

Last year, IBM announced that it planned to spend $3 billion on its Watson cognitive computing platform’s Internet of Things (IoT) capabilities. Now it has revealed that $200 million of that money will be spent on its new IoT headquarters in Munich, Germany. They include a blockchain service, advanced IoT security assessments, IoT threat intelligence, IoT data anonymization, the Watson Natural Language Classifier Service and the Cognitive IoT Cookbook.
