Salesforce Launches Einstein AI Program

Salesforce Launches Einstein AI Program

On Sunday, Salesforce launched Einstein, a new set of artificial intelligence capabilities that the company describes as “AI for everyone.” The company plans to integrate the AI technology into all of its cloud computing offerings. For example, in its Sales Cloud, Einstein will enable predictive lead scoring that will help sales professionals decide which potential customers to target and it will use machine learning to improve over time.

Salesforce said that 175 data scientists helped to build Einstein, and it is based on technology it has acquired from the purchase of several startups, including MetaMind. The firm also announced that it has a new research group that is focusing on deep learning, natural language processing, and computer vision.

Einstein features will become available to customers after Salesforce’s Winter 2017 update.
