Recruiting firm CyberCoders has published the results of a new study of mobile development salaries. Interestingly, senior Android developers earn significantly more than senior iOS developers—$131,571 per year for Android compared to $121,117 for iOS. However, the gap is much smaller for moderately experienced developers—$107,185 for Android to $107,081 for iOS.
On the other hand, the iOS developers have the upper hand when it comes to the number of positions available. Jobs for the Apple platform climbed 20 percent more than jobs for Google’s platform.
