HP has announced a new software as a service offering that will make it easier for enterprises to set up their own private app stores. Called HP Access Catalog, the new service can deliver both mobile and desktop apps. Users can access the private app store via a Web interface or a native mobile client for iOS or Android.
“As organizations embrace mobility, they need a simple, secure and reliable mechanism to manage the delivery of apps to their employees,” stated Dragan Milanovich, vice president of Web Services for HP Software. “The HP Access Catalog provides enterprises with a robust, flexible and easy-to-use solution, making it easier for users to be productive on their device of choice.”
