Report: Samsung Devices Dominate Android in the Enterprise

A new report from Fiberlink could help enterprise mobile development teams better understand which devices their users are likely to be using. The mobility management vendor says that Samsung devices account for 56 percent of the enterprise Android market. Motorola comes in second with a 22 percent market share, followed by HTC with 8 percent. The single most popular Android device for enterprise users was the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Also, while more businesses have been adopting tablets, the number of Android tablets still lags far behind the number of Android smartphones: 84 percent of enterprise Android devices are smartphones, and only 16 percent are tablets.
