Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a new cloud-based machine-learning analytics services for the Internet of Things (IoT). “Even if you’re a developer who’s never worked in machine learning, you’ll be able to use this new service, so the ramp up should be easy,” said Senior Vice President of Amazon Web Services Andy Jassy.
The service will find patterns in data and use them to make predictions. Amazon says its own developers are already using Amazon Machine Learning to make 50 billion predictions every week.
Amazon Machine Learning is currently available by subscription and integrates with data stored in with Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Redshift and Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS).
