If a computer running SQL Server is running too slowly, then the SQL Server Profiler may have too many traces or it may have a complex trace running. To improve the performance, try to stop any running traces to see if there is any improvement. If stopping traces improves performance, then you should examine the traces carefully. It is possible that you might be tracing more information than necessary thus holding on to more resources than actually required. You should also make sure you are not running too many complex traces simultaneously.
