Server.Execute as an Alternative to Server Side Includes

Similar to a procedure call in many programming languages, Server.Execute in IIS 5.0 calls a different ASP file as if it were part of the same ASP file. And it can be utilized to include files in a conditional way, which reduces the overall size of a Web page.

<% bExecute = True If bExecute Then Server.Execute("ASPFunction.asp") End if %>

After IIS processes the .asp file specified in the input parameter to Server.Execute, the response is returned to the calling ASP script.
