I have a Windows 2000 server where I have installed the Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 3. I want to do a backup, but the Exchange option is empty in the Windows 2000 backup window. No servers are available. What’s the problem?

Answer:
That’s a known Windows 2000 bug. You actually can backup the Exchange Server with it. What you need to do is double-click the words “Microsoft Exchange” (instead of the checkbox) and then you should be able to expand the hierarchy.
