When creating a Datawindow from SyntaxFromSQL function with a group break, the Trailer Group Totals and the Summary Totals get generated with a Format of #,##0.00. I would like to change the format the Trailer gGroup Totals and Summary totals to #,##0.

Take a look at the Modify function. You can call this function passing in the computed field name and the format you want to change to. It will alter the format for you.
